Halloween Festivities

Our family had a funtastic Halloween this year. Being a huge fan of holidays we like to celebrate all month long, or as long as we possibly can. Decorations for Halloween went up early in our house (in September) and we ended up eating Halloween candy even before we went trick-or-treating. One adventure we partook of before Halloween night was attending the Scarecrow festival at Thanksgiving Point. We enjoyed playing games, listening and dancing to music, petting animals, and eating yummy food. Spencer especially enjoyed the animals. He got the chance to ride a pony for the first time, which he enjoyed. He thought the ducks in the duck pond were hilarious. Every time a duck would put its' little head under the water he would do his Charlie Brown laugh (this is the laugh where he throws his head back and you can only see his nose if at his level, he does this because it is just that funny! ), Spencer is quite the entertainer.

For Halloween night Spencer got all dressed up in his monkey costume and went trick-or-treating with Mommy and Daddy of course and even auntie Amber. It was adorable the way Spencer said "trick-or-treat". I believe he actually ran around and said trick-or-treat to about 10 houses, while the other houses were greeted with a monkey trick-or-treater in a stroller (it's really the way to roll on Halloween night). After we got back from trick-or-treating we consumed way too much candy and stayed up way too late, as is customary on Halloween night. Another successful Halloween, until next year!
