That’s right; I’m 36 weeks along already! Things are going well for me and the baby. I’m so relieved that I made it past the 35 week mark because that is how far along I was when Spencer was born. I never once really worried about baby Girl because of the comfort I received on a daily basis that everything is in the Lord’s hands. I keep telling myself that when she is ready to come she will come, whether that is early or late. I’ve had several doctor appointments since my last post and everything checks out great. I’m really looking forward to my next appointment the week after Christmas because my doctor will then be able to give me some more information such as how dilated I am etc. I wish I could find out that information next week, but alas it is Christmas week and my doctor’s office is only open Monday and Tuesday (only a few days after my last appointment). I shall be patient, I suppose.I’m becoming quite anxious for baby Girl to arrive! I have been keeping myself busy cleaning the house, finishing projects, and purchasing those last minute items for baby and Christmas. I’m so grateful that it is the holiday season because that has been keeping me busy for sure. If I didn’t have things to keep me busy I would probably go out of my mind. Some days when I don’t have to clean the house, do laundry, etc, I have the wonderful excuse to make holiday goodies and watch holiday movies, some of my favorite things to do. I'm really looking forward to the Christmas holiday and baby Girl! Who knows, maybe they will come hand in hand? All I want for Christmas is my baby!
Below are a few pictures of some projects I've been working on to keep busy. The first two pictures are of our glider chair and ottoman that I re-upholstered. I wish I had a before picture of the chair because it was an awful print before I worked my magic. The next two pictures are of a taggy blanket I made for baby girl with a taggy elephant that I also made (that attaches to the blanket).

You are very accomplished! Upholstery even! You'll have to tell me on Christmas Eve how you managed to do that. And the blanket and elephant is adorable! Looking forward to seeing you and your family at Christmas time.
Wow! Go mama! I'm not sure how you find the energy to do ALLLL that, AND take care of Spencer...while you're so pregnant! You are my hero. I'm not even pregnant anymore, and I haven't even found the time to make Kenzi a simple blankey! I think about you all the time, and wonder how you're pregnancy is going. Heather is due January 1, so I've kept in the back of my mind that the little milestones she reaches, you're reaching too. She is absolutely humongous though. I mean HUGE. Her poor little 5' frame is having a rough time haha! Well, you look beautiful, you're obviously feeling great, and I'm so excited for your baby girl to get here! Can't wait to hear all about it, see her sweet little face, and find out what name you decided on!! We wish so much that you were going to Patrick's wedding tonight. I'd love to catch up. But alas, baby is on the way!! So fun!! I love you, and we're praying for a safe and healthy delivery for mama and baby.
You look gorgeous Megan! Tonight I suddenly realized I hadn't seen you in a few weeks and I wondered if maybe baby Girl had come already! Good to know she's still in your belly! And I'm glad you are feeling well! PLEASE let me know when she comes!!! Have Brady call or send a text or something so we can get meals set up and make sure you have what you need! Let me know if you need me to watch Spencer, you can call even in the middle of the night, SERIOUSLY!!
Wow, you have some serious talent!! I wish I knew how to reupholster my chair... it's hideous! I've heard it's sort of difficult, too!
And I LOVE the blanket... it would have been perfect for Lyla because all she likes to chew on is tags!
Your baby girl is so beautiful! I can't wait to see more pictures of her! Congratulations!
