My last semester was quite an emotional experience for me, the perfect culmination to my BYU education. I have quite enjoyed most (if not all) of my classes at BYU; however, this class topped them all. The class was title “Forming Marital Relationships.” It was a class geared toward helping us as MFHD (Marriage Family and Human Development) students understand relationships as well as teaching us ways in which we can help others improve their relationships. It was one of those classes that allow you to look at life through a variety of different colored glasses. My professor shared some amazing life stories and gave us great advice about relationships, marriage, families, and life in general. I learned a great deal from that Professor, and quite honestly I will never forget him. My hope is that I will be able to apply the things I learned here at BYU to my life, and most of all I hope to help others through their journey.
As I left my last class and walked off of BYU campus for the last time tears streamed down my face. I realized how much I am going to miss attending BYU. As I walked home that beautiful day I realized that this doesn’t have to be a sad ending. Instead, this is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in my life. I’m ready for the author of my book to start typing…
