Another Spencer Update

Spencer is now 21 months old. He will be two in July and I can hardly believe it. He is quite the character. He has a million different facial expressions, it’s adorable. In fact, he has so many different facial expressions that it's the number one comment we get from everyone we know, even from strangers. It is my goal to capture all of these different faces in photos, wouldn't that be quite the collage.

My little boy is growing up so fast it’s hard to keep track of his progress. He is all about learning and copying at this stage. He is very curious about his surroundings and wants to know and understand everything. You can see the curiosity in his eyes. He loves to learn the names of different objects and then point them out to us. He has definitely arrived in the word explosion stage; he is learning and saying so many words I’ve lost count. He will try to repeat any new word we teach him. It’s one of the cutest things to here him try to say certain words. Here are just a few of his favorite words: bubble, car, truck, ball, flower, bottle, cookie, cracker, and many more.

Spencer loves to play outside, if he could be outside all day long he would. I crave a backyard because it would make my life so much easier. I try to take him outside as often as I can, go on walks, play at the park, etc. I’m so glad that it is spring and warm outside during this stage; we would go bonkers if we had to stay inside all day.

All in all we love our little toddler! He is such an easy going kid. One of my favorite things about him is how warm and loving he is, he gives practically everyone kisses. He loves to play with children his age; he especially loves playing with children that are older than him. It’s so cute how he looks up to older kids. I’m pretty convinced he thinks he is older than he actually is. We just love this kid!
