High Hopes

We found out a couple of days ago that my Dad officially has cancer. He was diagnosed with Anaplastic T-cell Lymphoma. This type of Lymphoma is a rare aggressive cancer comprising only about 3 percent of all lymphomas in adults. The good news is that it is highly treatable. My Dad will undergo about 6 cycles of chemotherapy within 21 days. The type of chemotherapy that they will be administering is supposed to have fewer side effects, such as no hair loss and less nausea. However, everyone’s body reacts differently to chemotherapy so we are hoping my Dad will have fewer side effects. Our outlook on this official news is positive and hopeful. We know that my Dad is strong and that the Lord is watching over him. Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers.

We'll keep praying for your Dad, Megs. I'm sure that things will be okay, and I'm glad to know that his type of cancer is not even more serious. I love your awesome Dad and know that he will be watched over. Love you too...keep staying positive!

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. That has got to be hard.

You blog is very cute and Spencer is darling. To dang funny about Josh. Such a small world. I have even met Katie once. She was way little. They were up here visiting and Josh brought her over to my house. Crazy...I'm sure she doesn't remember.
