Spencer is growing up so fast. He has become quite the little entertainer around the house. Just yesterday he decided that it was finally time to stand on his own without help. Brady was sitting on the floor playing with him when all of a sudden Spencer stood up from a sitting position without the help of Brady. I wish all of you could have seen the look on his face in person, pure excitement. Luckily my camera was nearby and I caught the moment in a flash. While the act of standing is quite normal for a 14 month old what happened next was pure comedy. Within minutes of figuring out how to stand on his own he decides to explore the "upside-down" world by standing on his head. Apparently the upside down world is much more amusing than the upright world because he was giggling away while standing on his head for minutes upon end. I love enjoying life through a 1 year old.

Hooray for Spencer! I knew he could do it. Had you considered that the standing on the head thing might be his way of balancing easier...like a third leg? What a genius he is!
