We Thank Thee, O God, For a Prophet

Our beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley passed away January 27. As this news brought tears of sorrow it also brought dear smiles of remembrance. God's love for us is truly manifested in the calling of this extraordinary man to "guide us in these latter days." I am overcome with love when I think of this dear man who became such a special part of our lives. I am so thankful for the things he taught us. We will miss President Hinckley and his cane, but we will go forward. Here are a few words from this beloved Prophet.

"There is room for improvement in every life. Regardless of our circumstances, we can improve ourselves and while so doing have an effect on the lives of those about us."

"Be smart, be clean, be true, be grateful, be humble, be prayerful"

I'm so excited for President Hinckley. Now he can work hard and be with his wife without anything stopping him.
