My number one favorite thing is now I get to enjoy the beautiful Fall season with Spencer! He has so many "firsts" that we will get to experience with him. His first Halloween costume, his first snow fall, his first Christmas, maybe even his first snowman. One of the "firsts" that I am looking forward to the most is his first smile and first giggles! He has had many practice smiles, while he's in his drowsy state before he falls asleep. As cute as these practices smiles are I am so excited for the time when he looks in my eyes, I smile, and he smiles in return. What a beautiful moment that will be. By the way, Spencer is doing very well. He has grown up so much already. He is much more aware of his surroundings. He loves to look all around the room. He especially loves looking at the fun colors and characters in his nursery. He now weighs 8 lbs 15 oz. He is becoming our little rollie pollie! How adorable! He should now fit in some of his cute outfits. It's dress up time! I will post pictures soon. Well, Spencer is asleep so I am going to catch a few winks while I have the chance. Zzzzzz...
Here are some pictures of Spencer's nursery. Its a Classic Pooh theme. I've always loved the Classic Pooh characters and stories. My Mom helped me make the bedding, wall hangings, organizer, curtains, and diaper stacker. Thanks Mom!

What a cute room! You and your mom did such a good job! Our crib actually looks a lot like yours- I love the wood color. Thanks for the sweet note you left on our blog! I only hope that Nate and I can be as good of parents as you and Brady are to Spencer! And I can't wait until our little girl and Spencer can play together and be good friends! We'll have to take them to the park together, and on walks and all that fun stuff! I can't wait! Love you lots!
Ewwww I'm so jealous. We want babies too...but we're torn, because we also know things will never be the same again, so we feel like it's important to appreciate the beginning stages of marriage first. aye aye aye! I think you are the single most adorable mother ever. How cute that you're Spencer's mommy...he couldn't be luckier! My friends are such good parents :)...GREAT job on that precious nursery! I used to be way into classic pooh, I know I have a box full of stuff from during that time sitting in storage somewhere. I should dig it out, i'm sure it's still in great condition!
