A Silent Testimony

Spencer has become much more aware of his surroundings and has become a very curious baby. He loves to lift his little head and look around the room with big open eyes. As a preface, in our apartment we have two pictures of Christ hanging above our couch. For about a week now, whenever we hold Spencer on our chests while sitting on the couch he lifts his head and stares at these pictures. These are the only things that he stays focused on like that. Last week while looking at these pictures he smiled twice! A coincident, I think not. I can't even convey to you what its like to hold this beautiful little gift in our arms and watch him as he gazes at these pictures of Christ with such a happy expression. Both Brady and I have commented on the way he looks at these pictures, we agree that its a very special moment. I find myself choking back tears as I think about whose loving arms were wrapped around Spencer not too long ago. Its a wonderful gift Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us to create families. Heavenly Father sent us this little boy. I only hope that I can be the best Mother to Spencer. Its amazing what a little baby can communicate without words.

I have often noticed my several babies staring off into no where quite intently and smiling. I think the angels must still be around them comforting them, playing with them, and teaching them. It is nice to know I am not the only one looking after them sometimes.
