I have officially added one more class to my schedule this semester. That means I will be taking a total of, drum role please...11 credits. That is one credit shy of a full-time student’s load. However I think it is safe to say that I can add on a few more credits due to my workload of being a full time mom. I know that 11 credits is quite the load and sometimes I think I’m crazy for pushing myself so hard, but I know that it will be worth it in the end. You might ask why I have chosen to take on such a load this semester. The following will explain it all:
It just so happened that the other day an opportunity arose to take another course that I couldn't say no to. This course is basically an academic internship. There is a large study about families taking place in the school of family life at BYU. Several students and professors have had the opportunity to travel to Seattle in order to acquire data for this study by interviewing families. This study has been ongoing for over 3 years now and will continue to flourish for many years to come. It is an honor to take part in this study. I, along with other students will be studying the data that previous students and professors have collected and I will be forming conclusions in the form of papers. It will be a wonderful experience to apply everything I have learned thus far in my college experience. This class will fulfill the capstone requirement for my major; therefore, I will only have to complete one more class during the winter semester.
This brings me to the other reason for the large load: as Spencer is over the 1 year old “hill” Brady and I have started to look into our near future of prospective children. Both Brady and I feel strongly about our family’s potential and are very eager to build upon our little tripod of a family. This does not mean we are building right now, but the fact that I am taking so many classes now opens up many opportunities for us in the future. I must admit it is quite fun thinking about having another baby because that means Spencer will have a sibling. I literally become giddy thinking about the idea of sibling bonds beginning to form. All I can say right now about that is stay tuned…

I don't think you're crazy at all! You are my hero! haha. I can't believe Spencer is so old and I am SO EXCITED for you to add to your family too! Hehe. You will DEFINITELY have to keep us updated on that one! =) Love ya!
I would be glad to call you crazy...but, I have no leg to stand on in the sane department. Good for you and all that you do and are!
Good for you to keep going strong in school...I think it is better just to get it done asap then dragging it out and especially if you are thinking babies again in the near future! wow. Well, I guess that Brady does want a large family so you better get on that! :) More little Spencers or Spencer-ettes running around...how fun!
