Spencer and I took a walk to bask in the beautiful warmth that is this day. I love days like these, they are so invigorating. Let me paint you a picture; It’s a “bright sunshiny day,” the birds are singing, the air is crisp, I’m clothed in the comfiest walking clothes I own, I’m walking like there is no tomorrow listening to my iPod (thanks dad), and Spencer is enjoying the breathtaking scenery. Walking on a day like this creates unforgettable memories.

Speaking of walking memories, my siblings and I used to take walks all the time when we were younger. We would take walks with my parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles. These are some of the best memories I have of my childhood. We would take walks to the park and play all day. I think these walks are what sparked my appreciation for nature. We would collect all sorts of things, like pinecones, flowers, and rocks. We would even race to the slides and swings. I can’t wait to carry on this walking tradition with my children.
