The New Year has come as quickly as the past year has gone. I can hardly believe how quickly 2008 flew by. It seems quite true that as you get older time seems to pass you by as fast as the speed of light. It feels like just yesterday that I was extremely nervous and giddy about seeing Brady for the first time (in a long time) after his mission. Now, here we are happily married with a spunky little boy by our side who is learning and growing by the minute. When I look back on my life I am proud of my accomplishments and the way I handled hardships that I faced, all of which helped to mold me into the person I am today. One of my favorite things to do at the end of each year is to read from my journal. It’s always an eye opening and revelatory experience being able to look back and see the consequences (good and bad) of my decisions. I have so many goals for the upcoming year that I hope to accomplish. I look forward to the chance I will have to read my now unwritten journal, which will be full at the end of the year (I hope I will make my future-self proud). Here is to a many new memories about to unfold; may your New Year be all that you want it to be.
