Amber's Homecoming
We had a wonderful trip to California this last weekend to see Amber, who served a faithful mission in Halifax, Canada. It was so nice to see Amber and to hear her mission experiences in person. She loved her mission and we know that it was difficult for her to leave, but we love having her home. She has been such a great example to all of us during her mission. She has always been such a positive person and I look up to her so much. There were many times when her mission proved to be difficult, but she pressed forward with great faith. I can't even express to you what an experience it is to see your sibling go on a mission and work hard in serving the Lord. I knew from the day we walked Amber into the MTC and said our goodbye's that she would make such a difference in so many lives, but she exceeded our expectations. I am looking forward to the day when I can serve a mission with Brady. I know that a mission is one of the most difficult things you will ever experience, but seeing what Amber experienced made me realize how valuable the journey really is. It is so nice to have Amber home and we look forward to when she will be up here with us at BYU, come January. We love you Amber, welcome home!

Megan, I love your haircut. What cute family pics! Looks like you had a good time with your family. I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he has the least pain possible. Hang in there.
Yay for pictures! Your hair looks great! It's a nice fresh look and change! I can't wait to see Amber too...she is such an awesome girl, I love her! I will be praying for your Dad and I will talk to you soon once we know the news about Liam's condition too. You're right, it is always good to be positive and definitely see the glass "half-full" we are given trials to grow and learn and progress.
I love these pictures! Where were they taken?
