This semester my group and I have been working on building a program and preparing to teach a class, which we finished. We built our program based on difficulties you may face as a couple during the transition to parenthood and how to cope with the changes. We presented our class last night and it went so well (my group was amazing)! We had about 20 couples show up, which was more than we expected. I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to teach a class like this. It proved to be a great hands on experience that helped me realize how much I enjoy teaching in this field. I was really nervous all day yesterday, mostly in anticipation for our class. However, as soon as I got up to teach I wasn't nervous anymore and I felt so comfortable up there in front of everyone. I have such a strong passion for helping families, which makes teaching a fulfilling experience for me.Teaching this class really helped me in making my decision to become a CFLE. I haven’t made a permanent decision yet; I am going to talk with my professor about becoming a CFLE before I make a final decision. I think it is safe to say that I have felt very good about the decision to become a CFLE, so far. Side note: I would like to thank Brady for helping with Spencer while I worked on my project and for working so hard. He is such a supportive husband, I’m so grateful for him. I am so excited about my future; I have a great family and wonderful opportunities ahead of me.

Liam and I really enjoyed coming to your program/presentation. We thought you did very well and I could definitely see you being a CFLE or something like that! :)
