Our little boy is growing up so fast. Spencer is now officially 4 months old. He had a doctors appointment recently and weighed in at 14 lbs and he is 23 inches in length. What a growing boy! Over the weekend Spencer hit a big milestone (well for our family). He had his first night in his own room! Up until that point he was sleeping in our room in a bassinet. This made it so much easier for me, especially because he was getting up a lot during the night to eat. That first night when Spencer slept in his room I cried my eyes out. I had got so used to him sleeping right beside me. I could wake up at any time, look over and see Spencer peacefully sleeping (a beautiful picture). It was a hard adjustment for me, but I'm so excited for Spencer to be in his own room. He is becoming such a big boy. I can see so much of his personality shining through. He is so smiley, just the other day he discovered he can make noise with his lips. Now he is constantly giving the air raspberries with his lips, it's adorable.
A few of Spencer's Favorite Things (in no particular order)
-bath time (he loves to splish and splash)
-his rain forest bouncer, he kicks and plays with the toys while smiling.
-his Green frog and musical inch worm
-sitting up like an adult (with help of course), he looks all around amazed at what a different view sitting can give him.
-playing with mommy and daddy

I still cannot believe that we're both going to be 24 years old soon. I swear that we were 8 years old yesterday. Crazy! I'm jelous of you & your baby. There are many people out there... like me... who cannot have children... so know how blessed you are. Luv, Miss K.L.
