I love our baby boy! Words can't even describe the feelings that come along with the calling of motherhood. This past weekend was Spencer's baby blessing. It was a very emotional experience for me. The blessing itself was beautiful, the spirit was so strong. I love my husband for being the strong priesthood holder that he is. After the meeting the Bishop of our ward came up to me and told me that during the blessing Spencer was looking up at Brady the entire time. So precious, I had to choke back tears. The day of Spencer's blessing was also the primary program. This is always one of my favorite times. There is nothing more precious than listening to children sing hymns of our Savior. One of the songs included in the program is now one of my favorite songs, "Love is Spoken Here". I know this song very well, but I never really listened to the words. Well, as soon as I listened to the words accompanied by the sweet voices of little children tears poured down my face. I was overcome with emotion as I thought about this wonderful opportunity I have to be a mother. I love my family.
Love is Spoken Here"
I see my mother kneeling with our family each day
I hear the words she whispers as she bows her head to pray.
Her plea to the Father quiets all my fears,
And I am thankful love is spoken here.
Mine is a home where every hour is blessed by the strength of priesthood pow'r,
With father and mother leading the way,
Teaching me how to trust and obey;
And the things they teach are crystal clear,
For love is spoken here.
I can often feel the Savior near
When love is spoken here."

How special. I cannot believe that you're a mommy! Spencer is so cute. You and Brady made a beautiful baby. I was so excited when I visited your blog today... because you had X-mas music playing. X-mas is my favorite time of the year... I start listening in October (my man thinks I'm crazy along with many others). Well I hope you have a beautiful holiday season. Btw... do your parents still live in Yorba Linda? You should give me a ring-a-ding-ding when you come down so I can see you & your family. Take care, Love K.L.
